We met Betty, Martha and Maggie in Fresno in the early 70's when we came to St Luke's. I was also going to nursing school, so had a common bond with the girls. After college, my husband and I worked with CCC and the Pecks were on our support team. We enjoyed keeping in touch even tho we moved away. A few years ago we were able to visit with them in Indiana - what a blessing it was to see how God was working in their lives! Betty had vision problems, but her mind was bright and her love for God and her family was strong.

Mom Peck was truly a special lady. No one could have asked for a more loving and wonderful mother-in-law. I was truly blest to marry her son and gain her as a 2nd mother.

We have many beautiful memories of her over the years, but my most special one is when she left her home in Fresno to come and live with us for several months to care for our son & her grandson, Brian, when he was a baby, because my mom was recovering from surgery and we both worked. She would not hear of us having to put him in Day Care. Love you Mom, rest in peace. God Bless and Thanks.

I first met Betty at out home when the girls started playing bridge. I never played bridge but one of the girls got sick and they couldn't find anyone to play so I volunteered to fill in because the girls loved to play. This particular day was Betty's day to host the bridge game so Evelyn and I went to Betty's house. When the game started I immediately found out Betty was the best bridge player so I always ask Betty for advice during my learning session. It turned out to be a great day and my last time playing bridge. ha ha

After that day I had a chance to visit with Betty much more and realized how wonderful she really was. We shared a lot of the same ideas about life in general and because of this we became very good friends. Betty is a very special person in many ways. I will miss her very much because of our special feelings for one another.

I met Betty when I went to work for State Center Community College District in l975. Everyone working there loved Betty. She was always pleasant to everyone, never said an unkind word about anyone and was so smart, witty and fun to know. After Betty retired we started a bridge group, playing in each other's homes twice week. We thoroughly enjoyed this and each other for about 12 years until Betty moved to Indiana. How we missed her when she moved! We have kept in close contact through the years and her passing has left a hugh gap in my life.

I first met Betty when I was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Fresno, Ca. I will always remember her as a kind and gentle person. She was always willing to share a word and a warm smile. I know how much she is loved and admired by her family. Martha always spoke so highly of her that I felt like I knew her well. She will be missed. My prayers are with her family for God's comfort during their time of sorrow.

I have a long term tie with this family since many years when I met Maggy for business purposes and then a nice friendship grew. Such a tie strengthened when I met Martha for business purposes and friendship bloomed. It was great meeting her mother Betty for the first time about one year ago during a weekend spent at Martha's place. The sweetest weekend I have ever spent in the US since I started working for Eli Lilly and Company. The nicest part was meeting Betty and enjoying her memories of the days spent in Italy. It was love at first sight. I'll miss Betty a lot and I will have her in my prayers and thoughts for now on.
