Dear Bruce,
Pete and I are so sorry to hear about Carole. We always looked forward to her visits at the office. She was one of the bright spots in our day. We cannot know how deep your sorrow is, but want you to know that we send all our thoughts and prayers to you and your family at this time.
With our deepest sympathies,
Pete and Jane Fedelem

Carole had such a special relationship with Dad Poel. He treasured the times they played Rummikub together and always trusted her judgment. She always looked out for him and was truly his advocate, especially in his later years in the nursing home. He loved her like the precious daughter she was to him. I know that both he and Mom are welcoming her home with their arms wide open. Bruce, you will be much in our thoughts and prayers. Brenda, you are a special daughter and I know you will be there for Bruce. Brian, you, too, will be there to support Bruce and give him your special love and care. Together with your spouses, Rick and Julie, I know you will all be there for him. We, too, will continue our prayerful support for all of you. Carole left Bruce in your good hands.
All our love,
Jean and Don Scott

Hi Brenda,
I know all too well there is nothing I can say that will help make the pain go away. Just wanted you to know I'm sending a long distance hug. Take care of yourself as I know you sometimes forget to do that. I wish you courage and strength in the weeks and months ahead. Your mother would expect no less.

To Bruce, Brian & Julie, Brenda & Rick,
My prayers are for a sustaining grace for each of you. Words don't mean much right now but I think of you so frequently and like so many others will keep you in my prayers.
My memory of Carole are simple - she had a quick and real smile and her eyes would light up when she'd greet you. Growing up next door I always felt welcome at your house and she treated me like I was part of your family. She had a kind, warm heart.
May God bless you and keep you.
