Carole Poel

Carole Y. Poel, age 72, of Holland, died unexpectedly Tuesday, September 09, 2008 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth. Carole was born May 14, 1936 in Fremont, MI, to John and Hannah (Heetderks) Speet. She was a member of Fellowship Reformed Church, Holland. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Bruce; children, Brenda and Rick Crisp of Holland, and Brian and Julie Poel, of Jenison; 6 grandchildren; Sisters, Fonda Deur, of Grand Rapids; and Marilyn and Joseph Baillargeon, of Charlevoix; Sister-in-law, Jean and Don Scott, of Caledonia; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, 10:00a.m., at Fellowship Reformed Church. Officiating will be the Rev. James Baar. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, from 5-8p.m., at the Northwood Chapel, Dykstra Life Story Funeral Homes, 295 Douglas Ave. Memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Reformed Church.
