Bill passed away Tuesday evening September 2, 2008 at Bronson LakeView Hospital, Paw Paw. He was born January 12, 1919 in Detroit. He was most proud to be part of the 96th Infantry Division called the "Dead Eyes" serving in World War II. He was a staff sergeant and was awarded the bronze star for his meritorious achievements. He was a life member of the V.F.W. Post # 2532, American Legion Post #68, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council #3798. Bill retired from the Checker Motors Corp. in 1982. Bill was the most wonderful father, grandfather and husband to our mother, Nellie before her passing in 1999. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Casanto. Surviving are a son and spouse, Billy and Cindy Keselowski of Schoolcraft; two daughters, Norma Bailey of Paw Paw, and Judy Keselowski of Paw Paw; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Juriga of Lawton and Jean (Herb) Mortorff of Fennville; many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends, including his long time comrade John (Helen) Daley of Illinois. Family will receive friends Thursday evening (today) 5-8 PM at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a vigil service will be held at 7 PM this evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning 10:30 AM (9/5) at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Robert F. Creagan celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's School, Paw Paw.
