James Miller, age 73, entered his heavenly home on August 16, 2008, after a brief battle with leukemia. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Cora Maxine Miller (Lipscomb); parents, Walter and Pauline Miller, brothers, Walter and Herman; and a sister, Lillian. He is survived by his children, Theresa Leo, Patricia (Rick) Hansen, Larry (Kathy) Leo, Judy (Ed) Russell, Wendy (Joe) Lidgard; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; his sweetheart and loving companion, Joann Hansen, and her children; his siblings and their families, Violet Barr, Marion Latva, Virginia Burke, Myrtle Boyle, Ruth Armold, Pearl Litzenger, Edward, Richard, Clifford, David and Harold Miller, and a host of family and friends. A self-taught guitar player with a deep baritone voice, Jim (Tub) brought joy to many through his music. A master craftsman, he owned and operated Imperial Sheet Metal in Wyoming. In addition to steel and metal work, he enjoyed woodworking and leather tooling. His custom, hand-made creations will remain treasures to his loved ones. Tub also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, a good western, Friday night fish fry's and Popeye's Chicken. A man of quiet faith with a jovial spirit, an easy laugh, and a generous heart, Jim was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all. The Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Arsulowicz Brothers Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd.
