Shirley (Datema) Mellema

Mrs. Shirley Ruth Mellema (nee Datema), aged 83, of Grand Rapids, is now pain free after meeting Jesus on Saturday, August 16, 2008. She was preceded in death by her sister, Eleanore Datema. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Evert Mellema; her children, Randy and Tena Mellema, Doug and Robin Mellema, Kathy Fox, Dennis and Cindy Sikkema; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Howard and Thea Datema; brother-in-law, Chet and Jane Mellema; sisters-in-law, Joyce Van Neuren and Helen Mellema. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2 p.m. at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel with Pastor Paul M'Pindi officiating.
