Robert Marvin

Robert Douglas Marvin, the son of Frank and Helen Marvin, was born April 12, 1943 on a farm in Howard City, MI and died August 13, 2008 at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA at the age of 65 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank, his brother, Steve, and his dog, Misty. He is survived by his wife, Jan of Oakland; his mother, Helen; his children, Rob and wife, Sarie, Scott, Tom and wife, Ericka, Kelly and husband, Bob; his sister, Kathy; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and his dog, Sami. A memorial service will be held at the Oakland Christian Church in Oakland, IA on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Langeland Funeral Home in Portage, MI on Wednesday, August 20 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Fort Custer Cemetery.
