Louise Lester

Louise M. Lester, 95, of Battle Creek, died Friday, August 15, 2008 in Medina Manor Nursing Home, Durand, IL. She was born May 21, 1913 in Morocco, IN to Presley and Ella (Bell) Sims. Louise married Jesse Monarch in 1926, and then married Woodrow Lester in 1946, he preceded her in death in 1994. She was employed as an assembler by the Kellogg's Company for 26 years. Louise was a member of the Kellogg 25 Year Club. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn (Richard) Albertini of Davis, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Pamela, Sharon, Patty, Mike, Joseph, Linda and Michael; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin daughters, June Mae and Jean Marie, daughter Delores Bard and two brothers. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2008 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home where services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
