Frank Lipton (Lipkovitz)

Frank J. Lipton, age 93, of Fennville, died Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at Golden Acres Christian Retirement Home.

Frank was born in Chicago April 19, 1915. He worked as a police officer in Chicago before retiring. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during World War II. Frank was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Douglas, MI.

Surviving are his wife Bertha I. Hren; a brother, Richard Lipkovitz, of Indiana, and a sister, Elizabeth Mork, of Holland; nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Friday 2:00p.m., at St. Peters Catholic Church. Burial will be in Plummerville Cemetery.

Visiting is scheduled from 1:00p.m until the time of the service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland.

Arrangements are by the Saugatuck Chapel, Dykstra Life Story Funeral Homes, 520 Lake St., Saugatuck.
