My dear loving friends, my prayers have been going up for all of your family, since I received word about Ben. I love you all so much, and you will make it through all of this, it will take much time, but believe me when I say, with all the LOVE that is surrounding you right now and always, life will go on for all of you. I have always admired the love that was so evident between all of you, it showed in everyway, and the joy it brought to so many of us at church, to watch you all sitting there, just being your family. You have been a happy and loving family, continue in Ben's memory always.

Brian, Melanie, Jack, & Gracie, Our prayers are with you continuously throughout the day. "Each life is a mircle that changes the world and leaves it a better place than it was before" Ben certainly did just that! Ben's energy, determination, and smile will be missed.

My favorite memory of Ben was the first time I i really spent any time with him..at an indoor soccer tournament in Michigan. We played like 7 games in 2 days and it was tough...before the 4 game on the first day, we were getting ready to warm up and all the guys were sitting around and Ben walks up to us with a quadruple cheeseburger and starts eating it. The funny thing about it is he had a really good game...I'm going to miss Ben so much, Elo family you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Brian, Melanie and family, My prayers are with all of you. I always remember seeing all of you sitting together at church. Remember God loves us unconditionally and he is taking care of Ben now. Remember the good times. All my prayers, Bonnie Brown from FUMC.

We are praying for you several times daily. You are an incredible family, and Ben was extremely fortunate to share in the love you show to each other and to the Lord. You all did so many fun things together--how wonderful! Ben is with God now, and will be ready to see you again one day.

I can remember Sara and Ben attended Little House Preschool together. When we first attended FUMC we would get Sara to go up for the childern's sermon by showing her Ben was up there too. Over the years we have watched him grow into a wonderful young man, who will be greatly missed by many.

Ben was a really good friend, me him jordan, and josh long always used to hang out and stuff, he was a really good friend. i will never forget him you have my condolences

One of my co-workers son, Matt Haggard went to school (Mooresville Christian) with your son and speaks highly of him. I too lost a son entirely too early. My son was 19 and I "do" know what you are facing. I will continue to hold you in my thoughts and prayers. Always be thankful for the time you had with your precious son. The Lord only loans them to us and we have to enjoy and cherish every moment we have with them. The memories will become more of a treasure to you every day.
