Donald R. Davidson, aged 91, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Carolyn in 2001. Donald will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Lois (George) Nota, Gwen (Jerry) Huver; grandchildren, Brad and Jody Nota, Andrea (Gregg) Hall and Patrick Huver; great-grandson, Jaden; sister, Maxine Hooker; and many nieces and nephews. Donald was in the US Army 126th Red Arrow Division and served in the campaigns of East Indies, Papua, New Guinea, Luzon, and the Southern Philippines. His compassion and caring will be missed by all. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 17 at the Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave NE. Interment in Fairplains Cemetery. Friends and relatives may greet the family on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. For those who wish memorials can be made to American Heart Association.
