Teresa "Rider" Abbott

Teresa M. (Rider) Abbott, aged 41, of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph and her grandparents, Garland and Agnes Golliver and Bernice Blomeling. She leaves behind and will be greatly missed by her children, Amber VanderMeer, Cameron (Kamaria) Geerling, and Hunter VanderMeer; two grandchildren, Lucas and McKenna; parents, Ellis and Peggy Rider; brother, Rick (Dawn) Rider; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Gilda's Club. There will be a time for gathering following the service until 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gilda's Club. Arrangements by: Memorial
