Alice Zalewski

Mrs. Alice M. Zalewski of Grand Rapids, formerly of Newaygo, went to her heavenly home on January 31, 2008. Alice was born in Grand Rapids almost 80 years ago to her parents, William and Margaret Powers. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ellen Manis. She leaves behind and will be missed by her husband of nearly 60 years, Joseph; children, Anne and Dave Robach, Bill Zalewski and Lori Lathers, Paul and Kim Zalewski, Mary and Paul Gadola, Jane and Fred Pylman, Kathryn Zalewski, Julie and George Leh; 16 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 2 p.m. at the Raybrook Manor Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. The family will greet friends and relatives Friday evening, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel, with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
