Mrs. Susie Leftwich (Douthat) Adams, 90, of Battle Creek, MI, formerly of Memphis, TN died Friday, September 14, 2007 at Laurels of Bedford in Battle Creek. She was born December 30, 1916 in Fayville, TN the daughter of David Griner and Edna (Petty) Douthat.
Susie attended Messick High School in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a homemaker for most of her life but, was formerly employed at the Farmington Hills Country Club.
Susie is survived by Daughter, Janis Elaine Larabell of Battle Creek; Grandson, Charles Edward Larabell, Jr. of Livonia, MI; Granddaughter, Karla Marie Larabell of Detroit, MI; Brother, James Neal Douthat of Battle Creek; and 1 great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her Parents and 5 Brothers and Sisters.
She enjoyed time with her family and formerly enjoyed sewing.
