Madeline Abraham

OBITUARY:

Madeline Abraham, age 96, of Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday, January, 30, 2007 at Clark Retirement Home. Madeline was a devoted mother and made the world's greatest meatloaf. She loved to garden and play bridge. She had a passion for gaining knowledge. Madeline was an avid reader and enjoyed words and their definitions. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy and her brother, Richard Koert. She is survived by her children, Judy Standley and Dennis (Cheryl) Abraham; grandchildren, Patrick (Jennifer) Standley, Michael Standley, Suzanne (Tom) Ratering, Andrew (Tricia) Standley, Troy E. Abraham and Aurora Abraham; six great-grandchildren; brother, Martin (Gladys) Koert; sister-in-law, Agnes Koert also several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Friday 3 p.m. at the Clark Retirement Community Chapel, 1551 Franklin St. S.E. Burial will be in Fairplains Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. at the Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave. N.E. at Three Mile Rd.
