Grandma Rehm was an amazing women who I was blessed to know for almost 13 years. From the first time I met her, while Erin and I were dating, she opened her heart to me. Everytime that we made a visit to Niles and Kalamazoo to see Grandma it was more than a visit, it was a life experience that I will never forget. Whether it was her stories about her MANY family moves around the U.S. or her stories about raising Wendy, Kit, Steve and Jerry she amazed me with all that she experienced in her life and how incredible of a person (mother, grandmother and friend) she was and we all should inspire to be.
She had an incredible way of making everyone feel welcome and happy. The holidays have always been special with Grandma especially over the last 5 years watching her interact with our three children.
Grandma has a tough job ahead of her because at this point I am fairly certain Slim and Bud (my grandfather) have met each other in heaven and are busy causing a ruckus, trading war stories and arguing who's design is better. Best of luck Grandma, my prayers are with you.
She was dear to me and although she won't be with us physically she will always be with me spiritually and in my heart.

Peggy had the most contagious smile. One could tell by looking at her that life was good.
She told me at the wedding of Megan and Jermey that she had been put in charge of the weather as it was an outdoor wedding and we all know what that means in Michigan. Peggy must have been on the right list with God because the day was absolutely gorgeous!
We can't feel saddened over the loss of those we love without first remembering the joy of loving them.
Remembering is a journey the heart takes, back into a time that was, and our thoughts are the only tickets needed to ride. I want to ride with Peggy someday!
