Susan Zandee

OBITUARY:

Susan "June" Zandee, age 72, of Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2006 at her home. June was too busy living to worry about dying. She had a long career in nursing. She started working at Butterworth Hospital and later went on to work with Dugold MacIntryre M.D., Luis G. Ferrand M.D., Drs. Avery, Hamp and Beamon. Presently, she worked at Grand Valley Internal Medicine Specialists. June was preceded in death by her sons, David Scott Zandee and Mark Stewart Zandee. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Paul; children, Lynne (Jim) Jett, Matt (Terri) Zandee, Brooke (Dennis) Alt, Beth (Jim) Kieling, Todd (Stacey) Zandee; 13 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Gordon Zandee; sister-in-law, Nancy (Ike) Vanden Berg. According to her wishes her body has been donated to the Anatomical Program of the University of Michigan Medical School. The Memorial Service will be held Wednesday 1:00 p.m. at the Reyers North Valley Chapel. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, 7 to 9 p.m. at funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
