Robert Basil Crammed age 74 of Comstock, MI passed away late Sunday night February 22, 2015 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Bob was born on May 01, 1940 in Lawrence, Michigan son of late Harold and Donna (Tyler) Crummel. Bob graduated from Comstock High School with the class of 1958. Bob will be painfully missed by an abnormal number of close friends. Throughout his life he touched the hearts of many. People always left Bob's in a better condition than when they came. He had the ability to fix anything. In his life he enjoyed restoring classic cars, racing motorcycles, designing dune buggies, social gatherings, and most importantly being there for anything a friend needed. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and high school sweetheart, Sandy. Bob is survived by two brothers: Harold "Tiny" Crammed and Jerry Crummel, and three sisters: Barbara VanVoorst (Jack), Cheryl (Michael) Lathrop, and Brenda (Jack) Moore. Daughter: Shawn (Kevn) Mort, granddaughter: Mattison Murphy, Daughter: Shelley(Paul)Jennings, grandsons: Stuart and Brian Jennings, granddaughters: Paige (John) Sparkman and Rachel Jennings, and many nieces and nephews. Celebration of life will be held at the VFW in Comstock 5990 E Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49048 (269)342-5601 from 1:00-5:00PM on Saturday March 7th, the service will start at 2:00PM. There is a fundraiser in honor of Bob that will take place Sunday March 1st from 1:00-5:00PM at the Time Out Lounge in Galesburg, 400 E Michigan Ave, Galesburg, MI 49053 (269)665-7233. The family suggests that those wishing to make a memorial donation in Mr. Crummel's memory, can be sent to Old National Bank 3201 Portage Rd Kalamazoo, MI 49001, please make checks payable to Robert (Bob) Crummel's memorial fund. Ashes will be laid to rest with his parents in Lawrence.
