AUMAN, Cynthia Mae (Gibson) (Guedry) Passed away on January 30, 2015 following a three and half year courageous fight against cancer. She is survived by two brothers Benedict (Jane), Thomas, nieces Robyn, Jacey, cousins Marianne (Roger) Varano, Jim (Karen) Welniak, Robert (Carol) Welniak. Cynthia was born in Grand Rapids on October 14, 1940 to Tophelia and Ben Gibson. She graduated from Comstock Park High School in 1958. She loved acting in school plays and being a cheerleader. Cynthia was an avid Tigers fan and rarely missed watching or listening to a game. Being outdoors was very special to her. Some of her fondest memories were of living in the Grayling area on the Au Sable river even though she had traveled Europe, The Bahamas, Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. Above all else, she was devoted to her pets, whether they were horses, donkeys, birds, dogs or cats. Their comfort and well being was a primary focus. She loved them with her whole heart. Cynthia was a kind and caring person. She was a certified nursing assistant at Fulton Manor for twenty-three years. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Marianne & Roger as well as Dr. Nehal Lakhani and his team for all the care they provided. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Community CRC 150 Burt Ave SE Wyoming, MI 49548 at 4:00 pm. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Kent County Humane Society
