Audrey J. Galati, age 80, went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Audrey was born in Racine, March 8, 1934, daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Nee: Lexa) Marck.

Audrey was a graduate of William Horlick High School “Class of 1952”. On March 28, 1953 she was united in marriage to Dominic Galati Sr. who preceded her in death, March 4, 2006. Audrey was employed by Arturo’s Hair Salon for over thirty years, retiring in 2010. Most recently she was employed by Dr. Nancy Stoewe. She was a dedicated member of Faith Community Church and honorary member of Roma Lodge. An excellent cook, Audrey’s family was always her number one priority. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her children, Rev. Dominic (Pamela) Galati Jr. of Racine, Kathleen (Douglas) Sheley of Mooresville, NC, Sherri (Alex) Modesti of Wild Rose, Gina (Mark) MacKain of Suwanee, GA, Rev. Dino (Cindy) Galati of Kenosha; grandchildren, Brittany, Dominic III, and Dante Galati, Brett (Rebecca) Sheley, Andrea Sheley, Michael (Jessica) Sheley, Chad (Suzanne) Sheley, Nicole (Dave) Coughlin, Dina (Mark) Gaines, Hunter, Tyler, and Austin MacKain, Ashley, Matthew, Joshua, and Danielle Galati; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Pat (Ted) Dobrowski of Racine; sister-in-law, Linda Perfetto of Racine; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her grandson, Nicholas MacKain; and her brother, Joseph (Leone) Marck.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 2, 2015, 7:00 P.M. at Faith Community Church, 215 South Newman Road, with her sons, Rev. Dominic Galati Jr. and Rev. Dino Galati officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the church from 4:00 P.M. until time of service at 7:00 P.M. Private interment will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Faith Community Church or Compelled2Go Impact International have been suggested.
