Phillip Struble

Phillip S. Struble, age 87, of Three Rivers, MI died on January 21, 2015 in Kalamazoo. He was born August 21, 1927 in Kalamazoo, the son of the late Everett and Laura (Dyas) Struble. Phillip worked for the Local 131 Electrical Union for 30 years and was a member of the Prairie Edge Christian Reformed Church. On December 28, 1944 he married Harriet Van Den Bos, who preceded him in death on March 26, 2011. He is survived by his children, Sharon (Robert) LaRoy and Jim (Amy) Struble, all of Three Rivers, MI; eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; a sister, Janet Daniels of St. Paul, MN; nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Jean Johnson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10:30 AM, in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., with Rev. James Vander Roest officiating. Private interment will take place at Mt. Ever-Rest. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 9:30 AM on Saturday, until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Rose Arbor Hospice.
