Jacqueline Clickner

Jacqueline Ann Clickner, age 76, of COLUMBIA, SC passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel is assisting the family. Born in Kalamazoo, MI, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Blanche (Hodge) Quackenbush. Jacqueline was married to the late David Merton Clickner for 51 years and a military wife for 20 years. She enjoyed doing crafts; especially painting and ceramics. She loved to travel and to listen to her favorite songs. Jacqueline loved spending time surrounded by her family and friends. She never judged or failed to see the good in everyone she met. Surviving are her sons; David C. Clickner and wife RuthAnne of Newnan, GA; Richard J. Clickner and wife Denise of Bastrop, TX; daughters, Lee Ann Troyka and husband Vince of Columbia and Nancy L. Wilson and husband Daniel of Morris, IL, Kelly M. Strickland and husband Kevin of Keithville, LA, Staci J. Clickner of Columbia; brother Robert Quackenbush and wife Charlene of Kalamazoo, MI, sister, Linda Head and husband Phil of Kalamazoo, MI; 10 grandchildren and many wonderful great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother, James Quackenbush; and grandson, James Clickner. A memorial service will be held at Harrell Funeral Home at 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, Texas 78745 on January 31 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
