Steven Redinger

Steven A. Redinger, age 68, of Mattawan, MI passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at his home. He was born on April 22, 1946 in Jackson, MI the son of Walter A. and Dorothy M. (Wyckoff) Redinger. Steven graduated from Northern Michigan University and had been employed by Sysco Food Services for 33 years. He served as a docent at the Kalamazoo Air Zoo and was a member of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. Steven was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Stephanie Lynn Redinger. On January 25, 1969 Steven married the former Sally J. Navarre, who survives. Also surviving are two children, Scott (Kate) Redinger and Samantha (Steve) Maxam; a granddaughter, Sydney Stephenson; and two sisters, Joan Hodges and Shirley (Mike) Clink. Visitation will be held Thursday (today) from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Services will be held 11:00 Friday morning, at the Paw Paw United Methodist Church, 420 W. Michigan Avenue. Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery in Mattawan will follow services.
