Jesse Allen Mann, age 68, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away peacefully on January 18, 2015 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. He was born on July 12, 1946 to Allen Mann and Maurine (Martin) Mann in Eddy County, New Mexico. Jesse met the love of his life, Marilyn Woodworth Moise, in Albuquerque, New Mexico while working together at a local masonry company. It was a fast and immediate attraction. They were married August 19, 1978 in a private ceremony while vacationing in Mexico, prior to relocating to Kalamazoo, Michigan. The couple continued working together at Graff Trucking Company, in Kalamazoo, MI. Jesse was a professional driver and after working as such he realized the company's need for a semi-trailer repair facility. He and Marilyn opened J & M Trailer Repair in the early 1980's. Later the couple would merge these two companies together and Jesse worked there until retirement in 2002. Following retirement the couple fulfilled a lifelong dream of owning a restaurant. They formed Cork at the Corner in Texas Corners until Jesse's final retirement. They remained in Texas Corners ever since. Jesse is survived by his wife, Marilyn Woodworth Moise; step children, Tom & Sharon (Moise) O'Connor and Bernard & Jacque (Moise) Enright all of Albuquerque, NM and Becky Moise of Vicksburg, MI. He also enjoyed seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. There will be no funeral service but friends and family are invited to stop for a casual visit and to share a story with one another at Niko's Landing, 5852 King Highway in Comstock on Saturday, January 24th from 2PM 5PM. Private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Rose Arbor Hospice Residence or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
