Helen Grady

Helen Joan Grady, age 90, of Douglas died Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Tendercare Health and Rehab Center.

Helen was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and volunteered her time with the Christian Neighbors, a part of the church that cared for the needy in the community. Her family was everything to her. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas James Grady Sr. in 1987 and her son Thomas James Grady Jr. in 2014.

She was survived by her children: Judith Grady of Grosse Pointe Park, Robert and Mary Ann Grady of Macomb Twp., MI, Gerard and Pamela Grady of Scottsdale, AZ, Maureen (Grady) Prevenas of St. Charles, IL, Kevin and Sandra Grady of Bollingbrook, IL, Ann (Grady) Schock of Douglas, Kenneth Grady of Holland; grandchildren: Thomas James III and Rachel Grady, Sarah Grady, Meghan Grady, John and Mollie Grady, Elizabeth Grady, Stephen and Sarah Prevenas, Katherine Grady, Kevin Grady, James Grady, Melissa Schock, Kristin Schock, Jennifer Schock and Stephen Macauley; great grandchildren: Avah, Adrienne, Jacob, Emelia and Molly.

A funeral mass will be 11:00 am, Monday, January 26, 2015 at St. Peter Catholic Church 100 Peter Drive in Douglas. Father Fabio Garzon will be officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm with wake prayers at 7:30 pm, Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Mulder Chapel 188 west 32nd Street in Holland.
