Angeline (Pulaski) Forbeck of Traverse City, Michigan passed away peacefully on December 26, 2014 at age 92. Born in Hamtramck, MI, Michigan on February 22, 1922, she was the 5th child of twelve born to Matthew and Eleanor Pulaski. Angie grew up on a farm in Buckley, Michigan. As a young adult she moved to Detroit, Michigan where she worked in an airplane factory during WWII. That’s where she met William Kenneth Forbeck. She was a Rosie the Riveter and he was a Welder. They were married on October 12, 1944. They were married for 63 years. Ken and Angie spent most of their lives in Monroe, Michigan where Ken owned an auto parts business, Ken’s Parts and Equipment. Angie is remembered as a wonderful homemaker who was devoted to her children. She loved to work with her hands. She could sew, knit and crochet. Playing Pinochle with friends and relatives was one of her favorite pastimes. She was a great cook, loved to read, and enjoyed golf and bowling. According to her eldest grandchild Matt: “She was fierce in determination, tough when necessary, kind to those she knew; as well as being witty and lots of fun.” Angie is survived by three children, Kenneth Forbeck of Beloit, Wisconsin, Kathy Kundrat of Traverse City, Michigan, and Pamela Poll of Pueblo, Colorado; five grandchildren: Matthew of Beloit, WI, Mark of Lake Mills, WI, Kim and Jody, both of Milwaukee, WI, and Kate Williams (Kundrat) of Lee’s Summit, MO. and 14 great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held 10am, Saturday, June 27, 2105 at St. Mary’s Hannah Church; where the family will greet friend starting at 9am.
