Romulus "Romalo" Bianchi

Bianchi, Ramulus "Romalo" aged 90, passed away on December 19, 2014 at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. Romalo proudly served his country in the United States Airforce. He was a dedicated hardworking man, especially for National Plating Company, which was the family owned business. He loved hunting, fishing, cooking and most of all, his son Robert. Romalo was born June 5, 1924 to Alexander and Faustina Bianchi, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded by his brothers James Vincent, Nello, Remo, Leo, and twin brother Paris. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Robert Bianchi, his grandchildren Trisha VanTuinen, Megan Buyze, Erin Wilcoxson, Savanna Woodson, and Ryan Bianchi, his 8 great-grandchildren, sister Gloria Clark and many nieces and nephews; also surviving is sister-in-law, Jean Bianchi. Please join the family on Friday, December 26, 2014 for visitation at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans Chapel (3000 Monroe Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505) from 12pm to 1pm, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm, with Father Peter Vu officiating.
