Diane Moffitt

Diane Moffitt, Kalamazoo, age 64, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on June 19, 1950, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ferna (Gackler) Moffitt. Diane was a strong woman. She loved staying active and believed in being fit. She was an aerobics instructor and also attended many exercise classes. She also believed in hard work and education. Diane received her undergraduate degree from Nazareth College and a Masters and Specialist Degree in Exercise Physiology from WMU. She went on to work in many areas of the medical community. In her free time she enjoyed doing crochet work and making jewelry. Diane also had a strong faith in the Lord and was a member of Calvary Bible Church for many years. Diane also loved spending time with her best friend and only sister Julie. They took many trips together including one to Scotland and one to Israel. Diane was a beautiful person who leaves us too soon, but her memory will forever be with us. In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014, beginning at 11:00 AM at Calvary Bible Church 855 South Drake Road, Kalamazoo, MI, 49009, with Pastor John Barnett officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made to Calvary Bible Church (Healthy Homes Fund), c/o the funeral home.
