Michelle Jerke

Michelle "Shele" Jerke, Kalamazoo, MI passed away on December 16, 2014 at the age of 55. Shele was born in Kalamazoo, on April 23, 1959. She graduated from Comstock High School and retired from AT&T. She was a loving and caring person who took special care of everyone in her family and loved her animals. She was preceded in death by her father, Al Jerke; and brother, Ted Jerke. She is survived by her mother, Norma Jerke; brother, Tim (Phyllis) Jerke; sisters, Lynn (Tony Licata) Gross, Deb (Christy) Julian; nephews, John (Becky) Jerke, Troy Jerke and niece, Lydia (Samuel) Levinson; great-nieces and great-nephews, Trenton Jerke, Skyler Jerke and Katelyn and Lauryn Jerke. She will also be missed by her dogs, Mandy and Zoey. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Private interment will take place in Comstock cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kalamazoo Humane Society.
