Edward M. Klinkhammer, age 98, entered eternal life Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Edward was born in Franksville on May 25, 1916 son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Nee: Mutchie) Klinkhammer.

A lifetime member of St. Louis Catholic Church, also serving as an usher, Ed was united in marriage to Eva C. Kah on July 26th, 1941 who preceded him in death, December 26, 1997 after 56 years of marriage. Ed worked at Massey Ferguson, Case and then Payne & Dolan for 20 years retiring in 1979. He was a 50 year + member of the Operating Engineers Union 139. He was an avid baseball fan rooting on both the Cubs and Brewers. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, dancing (polka) and playing cards.

Survivors include his sons, Jerry (Sue), Bob, Mike (Ann) Klinkhammer of Racine; his grandchildren, Carrie Bertram, Brian (Honor) Schuld, Steve (Tracy) Schuld, Rick (Amy) Klinkhammer, Tracy (Eric) Kipper, Kelley (Jess-Fiancé) Klinkhammer, Caitlin DeLap, Christopher DeLap: his great-grandchildren, Trenton, Tyler, Troy, Cameron, Eva, Aiden, Hailey and Tristan. Sister, Lucille Braun; sister-in-law, June Kah. Special Friend Mary Cliff, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his brothers: Joe, Louis, sisters: Marie, Eleanor and Bernice.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 20, 2014, 11:00 A.M. at St. Louis Catholic Church, 13207 Highway G, Caledonia with Rev. Mark Danczyk officiating. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Saturday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M.
