Gwendolyn Elizabeth Crawford, age 91, of Saugatuck, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 26, 2014.
Gwen enjoyed a wonderful life as a resident of Saugatuck since 1945.
She was an active member of the First Congregational Church in Saugatuck, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Saugatuck Women’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Robert (Bob), in 1999 and a granddaughter, Merry Carole Crawford in 1975.
Surviving are her children, Robert and Kathleen Crawford, Richard and Linda Crawford, and Gloria and Nawin Gupta; 4 grandchildren, Kristin and Michael Donofrio, Ryan and Tamara Crawford, Kerry and Michael Martin, and Rishika Gupta; 8 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, December 6, at the First Congregational Church, in Saugatuck, 296 Hoffman Street, with the Rev. Bruce VanDer Kolk officiating.
Visitation will be 10-11 am, one hour prior the service, at the church.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Saugatuck.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church Memorial Fund.
Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Saugatuck Chapel.
