Janette Bainbridge

Janette L. Bainbridge, age 83, of Marcellus, MI passed away Saturday morning November 22, 2014. She was born September 28, 1931 in Three Rivers, MI the daughter of Leonard C. and Margaret L. (Caul) Parmeter. On March 11, 1950 in Marcellus, MI she married Eugene E. Bainbridge who preceded her in death in 2008. Janette managed their family farm and truly enjoyed farming alongside her husband. She also enjoyed big game hunting. Surviving are two daughters, Judy (Bill) Hartzell of Lansing, MI and Christine Yeomans of Howell, MI; one son, Larry (Shawnie) Bainbridge of Marcellus; one brother, Carroll (Janice) Parmeter of Marcellus; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Eugene. The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Friday, November 28, 2014 in the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Marcellus. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 29, 2014 in the funeral home with Pastor John Messner of the Marcellus & Wakelee United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Marcellus Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or the Salvation Army.
