Mary Rose DePree, age 86, of Holland went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Tendercare Health and Rehab Center.

Mary was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She was born in Baltimore, MD where she met her husband Harvey DePree who was serving in the US Navy. They moved to Holland, MI in the winter of 1949. Mary was active in charities through-out her life. She loved family gatherings, enjoyed cooking and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey in 1998, daughter Paulette in 1953 and a granddaughter Sherri in 1983.

She is survived by her children: Wayne and Karen DePree of Battle Creek, Mark DePree of Grand Rapids, Daniel and Mary DePree of Holland, Randy and Bettye DePree of Holland, Kathy and Rusty Radloff of Fennville; grandchildren: Sally Rogers, Kevin, Steven and Andrew DePree, Rebekah Radloff; great grandchildren: Alec, Evan, Troy and Sherri Rogers; sister and brother-in-law: Kay DePree, Lloyd and Carol VanDyke; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Dykstra Funeral Home - Mulder Chapel 188 West 32nd Street in Holland.

Father James Vander Laan will be officiating.

Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 1:00 pm prior to the service.
