Frances Wentzel, age 81, passed away November 23, 2014. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Berten, in January 23, 2014. Frances was also preceded in death by her mother, father, and siblings.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Kay Wentzel; daughter, Karen Wentzel; son, Kevin (Tina) Wentzel; daughter Kris (Steve) Tice. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Levi Miller, Aaron (Jill) Tice, Dan Tice, Zach Hamilton, and Ethan Hamilton; and great-grandchildren, Madison and Sean. Frances is also survived by her sister, Edith Kiser; sister-in-law, Fern Jempa; sisterin-in-law, Vivian Johnson; brother-in-law, Henry (Iola) Wentzel; sister-in-law, Clara Ten Hagen; brother-in-law Kenneth (Betty) Wentzel; sister-in-law, Wanda (Hershel) Vanderkamp; sister-in-law, Florence (Lloyd) Brinkhuis; and many nieces and nephews.

Frances enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and serving in the nursery ministry at Calvary Baptist Church.

Visitation Friday, November 28, 2014 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel; 188 West 32nd St. Funeral Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church; 517 32nd St.
