Margaret Eggerding (Barnes), aged 97, of Grand Rapids, was called home to Heaven on November 19, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur H. Eggerding; and stepchildren, Lois Libbers, Wilma Norman and Arthur H Eggerding II. Margaret is survived by her children, Robert C. (Ruth) Eggerding, Shirley (Jay) Reeb and Donald (Nancy) Eggerding; sisters, Elizabeth “Mae” Schuitema and Paulene Steele; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Margaret was a sweet, kind person who was loved by many. The Funeral will be held at 12 PM on Friday, November 21st at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW with Rev. Craig Bickel officiating. Friends are invited to visit with her family from 10 AM until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Human Needs Committee.
