Elizabeth A. "Liz" Flarida

Elizabeth “Liz” A. Flarida, age 56, passed away Thursday, November 06, 2014 at St. Luke’s Medical Center. Liz was born in Racine, October 16, 1958, daughter of Kenneth Eaton and Theresa (Nee: Eisenman). She was a graduate of Wm Horlick High School “Class of 1976.”

On May 21, 2011 she was united in marriage to Robert “Rocky” Flarida. Liz enjoyed painting and gardening but most of all she treasured time spent with her family especially her grandkids. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Rocky; her children, Kenneth (Rhonda) Gottfredsen, Kristina Folk; her grandchildren, Ashley and Tyler Gottfredsen, Deon Famous, Braydon Young, Ariyah Young; her father, Kenneth Eaton; sisters, Kimberly (Jeff) Toutant, Kelly Eaton; brother, Tony (Traci) Eaton; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marianne (Bob) Mitchell; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her daughter, Katie Gottfredsen.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, November 23, 2014, 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Memorials to the American Heart Association have been suggested.
