Theodore (Ted) Charles Kleinheksel age 89 of Holland died Wednesday October 29, 2014 at Tendercare Nursing Facility.

Ted was born in Filmore Township and grew up in Hamilton. He was employed as a furniture finisher working for both Baker Furniture and Sligh Furniture. Ted had a passion for working with wood and was known for his expertise in the Holland area.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Jean Kleinheksel in 1980 and son Thomas Kleinheksel in 1991.

He is survived by his wife Delores and children; Sharon (Robert) Cidell of Bourbonnais, IL., Terry (Betsy) Kleinheksel of Rockwall,TX., Shirley (Dan) Montgomery of Kentwood, MI., grandchildren; Julie Cidell Dunfield( Nathan), Steven Kleinheksel and Angela Kleinheksel, 3 great grandchildren, Step-children: Barbara (Joel) Harrington of Holland, Steven Veele of Fennville, Jonathon (Ginger) Veele of Grand Haven, David (Brenda) Veele of Holland, several step grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Lorraine (Lavern) Sikkema of Holland and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday 1:30 PM at Mulder Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 188 West 32nd St. with Rev. Timothy Durey officiating. Burial will be in East Saugatuck Cemetery.

Friends may greet the family Saturday 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the service.
