Corinne Parker

Corinne Ann Parker, better known as Ann, age 74, passed away October 27, 2014. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Sampson.

Ann is survived by her husband, John, and her daughter, Sarah Jon (Michael) Vereeke. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jasper and Garret Weigmink, and Jack Sampson; her son-in-law, Eric Sampson; and her sister, Lyla (Richard) Farmer.

Ann enjoyed sewing and her time spent in the Holland Community Chorale. She was proud of her work with the American Cancer Society and at-risk youth at Holland High School in the mid-1990’s. Ann was a participant of AA for almost 35 years, showing that “God could and would if He were sought.” During her time in the program, she learned to take things “One day at time,” a motto she applied to many other aspects of her life.

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 13 at Grace Episcopal Church; 555 Michigan Avenue.
