Howard Buddemeier

Mr. Howard F. Buddemeier, Kalamazoo, MI died Sunday afternoon October 26, 2014 at his residence. Howard was born April 23, 1919 in Wheatly, Ontario a son of Milford and Hazel (Heartley) Buddemeier. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Navy. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with the Union Local # 7 for over 25 years, retiring in 1980. Howard was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty J. (Riddle) Buddemeier in March of 1979; five brothers; and a great-granddaughter, Megan. He is survived by four children, John (Dolores) Buddemeier of Lawrence, MI, David (Jan) Buddemeier of Costa Rica, Jane (Dean) Ward of Phoenix, AZ, and Donna (Ross) Sutton of Florida; 11 grandchildren, Jon, Mike, and Steven Buddemeier, Terry, David, Mike (Moss) Buddemeier, Dean Jr., Timothy, and Jim Ward, and John, Shannon Shoemaker-Sutton; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 12 o'clock Saturday, November 15th at the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness, 53797 Red Arrow Highway, Lawrence, MI. Private burial will take place in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
