Dennis Rose

Dennis W. Rose, age 56, of Portage, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, October 24, 2014 at the Kairos Dwelling. Dennis was born June 28, 1958 in Kalamazoo, the son of Jack Rose Sr. and Patricia (Hannah) Rose. Dennis grew up in Kalamazoo and spent a lot of his adult life up North. He was a career pipefitter and worked at Georgia Pacific and Graphic Packaging. He dearly loved his children. Dennis loved hunting and fishing on his big boat. He was preceded in death by his father. Dennis is survived by his children, Pammie Rose and Kenny Rose; his ex-wife and mother of their children, Marie Johnson; his mother, Patricia Moore; his brother and sisters, Jack Rose Jr., Cathy (Randy) Spinelli, Jean Rose, and nephews & nieces, Randy Jr., Patty, Jessica, Jennifer, Jack III, and Autumn. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dennis's name may be directed to the Kairos Dwelling or the National Emphysema Foundation. Arrangements were entrusted to the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Richland Chapel.
