Debra Jo Mills

Debra Jo Mills, age 56 of Lawton, passed away Saturday evening, October 25, 2014 at home. She was born December 11, 1957 in Lawton, MI the daughter of the late William R. and Mamie (Brewington) Nelson. She was employed at Bronson LakeView Nursing Home in Lawton for 29 years and White Oaks in Lawton for four years. She enjoyed fishing, camping, music and loved animals. On July 6, 1976 in Lawton, Debra was united in marriage to Thomas L. Mills who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Heath (Michelle) Mills of St. Joseph, MI and Devin (Emily) Mills of Comstock Park, MI; 4 grandchildren, Jax, Sullivan, Phoenix and Nemera Mills; 2 brothers, Wayne Nelson of Paw Paw and Wendell (Ellen) Nelson of Lawton; 2 sisters, Glenda (Paul) Reidt of Paw Paw and Darlene Rardon of Salina, KS; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Thursday 1 p.m. with Pastor Wayne McKenney of St. Paul United Methodist Church officiating. Interment in Chamberlain Cemetery, Lawton. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan or West Michigan Cancer Center. ADAMS FUNERAL HOME PAW PAW.
