Marjorie Cramer

Marjorie "June" Cramer of Portage, age 91, went home to be with her Lord and Savior early Monday morning, October 27, 2014, at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. She was born on June 7, 1923 in Bangor, MI, to Benjamin and Nellie (Siersma) Foglesong. On March 10, 1944, she was united in marriage to Lawrence A. Cramer. She was part of the Body of Christ at the Oakland Drive Christian Church in Portage. Surviving are her loving daughter, Kathleen J. (Dennis) Reside; three grandchildren, Doug (Marilyn) Reside, John (Jackie) Reside, Rebecca Reside; two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Abby; three sisters, Kay Overton, M. Joyce Kuhl and Connie (Fred) Zook; former daughter-in-law, Elaine Cramer; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends. Preceding her in death were her loving husband of sixty-nine years, Larry Cramer and son, Michael A. Cramer. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, Oct. 30, at the Oakland Drive Christian Church, 7331 Oakland Dr. Portage, with her grandson, Pastor John M. Reside, officiating. Private family interment will be at Arlington Hill Cemetery following the luncheon at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Oakland Drive Christian Church or Rose Arbor Hospice Residence.
