Milton F. Miller, age 94, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at his residence. Milton was born in Racine, June 9, 1920, son of the late Anthony G. and Barbara (Nee: Obernberger) Miller.

Milton graduated from St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1939” and later graduated from UW Stout. He proudly served in the United States Army Glider Corps and Navy Airforce. On August 24, 1946, at St. Joseph Catholic Church he was united in marriage to Bernice Seitz who preceded him in death, July 18, 2008. Milton was an Industrial Arts teacher at Oak Creek High School for thirty years until his retirement in 1987. Since 1972 Milton owned and operated Millbern Enterprise. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Milton devoted his life to his family and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his four children, Janet Kilpatrick (Vincent Lofink) of Delaware, Leon (Shelley) Miller of Littleton, CO, Alan (Susan) Miller, Laurence (Cynthia) Miller all of Racine; his seven grandchildren, Stephanie Adams, Erica (Aaron) Galbreath, Roxanne Miller, Amy Miller (Dave Clark), Vincent Miller, Lorrie (Chris) Brown, Nicole Miller; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, James (Ruthanne) Miller of Little Rock AR; sister, Mary Jane (William) Haas of Wauwatosa; brother-in-law, John Russell Seitz of Rockingham, NC; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, James Kilpatrick; grandson, Anthony Miller, and brother, Richard Miller.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 30, 2014, 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring Street, with Rev. William Dietzer officiating. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the funeral home 5-7 p.m. and Thursday at the church 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass.

A special thank you to Larry and Cindy for the excellent care and friendship given to Dad these past 7 years.
