Cora Bruystens

Bruystens, Cora Mary Three Rivers, MI Cora Mary Bruystens passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. Cora was born April 29, 1922 in Pokagon, MI the daughter of the late Arthur Jackson and Lucy Luetta (Bullard) Fitch. She worked for W-L Molding for several years and had a day-care in her home. On April 4, 2006, she married Francis (Fritz) Bruystens, who survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Nancy Louise Hoard (Blank) of Kalamazoo and also many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Cora was preceded in death by her parents; her sons and grandson, Roger Adkins, Marvin Charles Adkins, and his son, Marvin Jay Adkins; four brothers, Harold Clair Fitch, Wayne Arthur Fitch, Donald Malcom Fitch and Junior Eugene Fitch; two sisters, Gertrude Viola Kridler and Glennis Theo Elliott. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave., with Rev. John Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Boughton Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until the service time.
