Thelma Loomis

Thelma Fianna Loomis, aged 98, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Eva Shrauger, her husband Robert T. Cole; her great-granddaughter Breanne Blodgett; her siblings, Percy (Cordelia) Marlette, Dorothy (Harlow) Steffey, Florence (Matthew) Dean, Vera (John) Daly, Maurice (Wanda) Shrauger, and Virginia (Lynes) Bawkey. Thelma is also preceded by Carl Deal and Duane Loomis. Thelma will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Nancy (Jerry) Guess and Linda Blodgett (Wilbur Mathews), and her sons Bob (Dyrinda) Cole and William (Diane) Cole. She is survived by 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, special niece and nephew Dave and Ann Shrauger; and many additional beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be held at 1pm on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Doster Reformed Church (12145 Doster Rd, Plainwell, MI 49080) with the Memorial Service at 2pm.
