Burton E. Bunker

Bunker, Berton E. Berton E. Bunker, age 85, of Cutlerville, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 18, 2014. Bert was a veteran of the Korean War Era Conflict serving in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Deuaine Bunker; sister, Eloise Lewis. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be missed by his wife of 62 years, Marjory; children, Bruce (Denice) Bunker, Terry Bunker, Kathie Laham; grandchildren, Jeffrey (April), Kristina, Aaron, Cameron; great grandchild, Cole Allen. He will be missed by his many beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews, and many close friends. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his family and friends. He was always ready to help anyone with any project that they needed. He enjoyed playing all types of board and card games and loved playing and teaching his grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 1 pm Friday, October 24, at South United Methodist Church, 4500 S. Division Ave., with Rev. Mack Strange officiating. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
