William E. "Bill" Bozarth, 97, of Augusta, died Friday, October 17, 2014 at Kairos Dwelling. Bill was born October 12, 1917 in Livingston County, KY to Elmer and Lillie (Lemon) Bozarth. As a child, Bill was raised in Southern Illinois and moved to Augusta in 1950. Bill was a hardworking man, holding various jobs around the area, mainly as a truck driver. He worked at Carver Civic Center in Kalamazoo as a maintenance engineer for 9 years before retiring. His greatest joys in life were his children and grandchildren who were always able to bring that great big smile to his loving face. He was an avid Detroit Tiger's fan and enjoyed fishing and carpentry. Bill married the former Cleo Conn in 1938 in Kentucky, who sadly preceded him in death in 1999. He was also predeceased by son-in-law Bob Stinnett, sister-in-law Glenna Bozarth, brother-in-law Jim Jinright and grandson Steve Bozarth. Bill is survived by his four daughters, Janice F. (Troy) Swinford of Paducah, KY, Judy D. Stinnett of Climax, Teresa J. (Todd) Blake of Galesburg and Mary Beth (Edwin) Moreland of Climax; three sons, Larry K. (June) Bozarth of Battle Creek, Charles E. (Linda) Bozarth of Kalamazoo and Grover D. "Doug" (Peggy) Bozarth of Augusta, and daughter-in-law Darlene Sixbury of Nashville; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild, a sister, Virginia "Lois" Jinright of Milwaukee, WI and a brother, Arthur "Ray" (Mary) Bozarth of Coloma. Private family services were held at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Richland Chapel with final interment at East Hickory Corners Cemetery.
