Kenneth G. Barnes Jr., 57 of Bradley passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 in his home. He was born November 1, 1956 in Virginia to Kenneth and Eula Mae (Hill) Barnes. He was employed as a maintenance man at Kankakee Roper and Oakwood Construction until his retirement in 1996.
Kenneth was of the Christian faith and a member of Union #751. He enjoyed bowling and watching his Dad bowl, air gun shooting, waxing his car, collecting angels, eagles, coins, swords and crosses.
He is survived by his daughter, Kayla LeAnne Marie Barnes of Bradley, his parents Kenneth and Eula Barnes of Bradley, his sister; Bobbie and Rodney Ballard of Grant Park and his significant other Penny Day of Bradley. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Larry and Barbara Ballard, Kevin and Melissa Ballard, Keena and Dave Childers, Kendall Ballard, and great nieces Kaylee, Madison, Amy, Emily and Isabella.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandparents, Uncles and 1 Aunt.
