Stuchlak, Mary Passed away peacefully at Rose Arbor Hospice on October 16, 2014 at age 89. Mary was born December 27, 1924 in Kalamazoo to the late Josef and Mary (Struhar) Kozacek. She was united in marriage to John Stuchlak on November 16, 1945. He preceded her in death in March of 2002. Mary's greatest joy in life was her family. She planted the roots of our family tree, and will be greatly missed by all. Mary is survived by her children, Mary Anne Leveque and Madelyn Pinder; grandchildren, Paul (Tami) Leveque, Marc (Beverly) Leveque, Rebecca (Curtis) Nevala and Sam Pinder; great grandchildren, Nick Rice, Matti Leveque, Zach Leveque, Lauren Leveque, Kate Nevala, Lucas Pinder and Halley Szekely; sons-in-law, Paul Szekely and Patrick Pinder; and several nieces and nephews. Mary is also preceded in death by a son, John J. Stuchlak; brothers, Joe, John and Jerry Kozacek; and sister, Anna Sloan. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Tuesday, October 21st, at 11:00am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1150 W. Centre Ave., Portage with Fr. Stanley Witek officiating. The family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church and on Monday, October 20th from 6-8 pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., with a Rosary service at 7:30 pm. Burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery will follow a church luncheon. Memorials may be directed to Rose Arbor Hospice or to a charity of one's choice .
