Rosetta Barber

Barber, Rosetta Rosetta Usona Barber, age 99, went home to be with her Lord on October 16, 2014 at her residence in Kalamazoo. Rosetta was born September 3, 1915 in Claire County, Michigan, the daughter of the late Frank and Minnie (Osborn) David. She was a longtime Kalamazoo area resident and member of The Salvation Army. Rosetta was married to Charles Arthur Barber who preceded her in death in 1987. She was also preceded by a brother, three sisters, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Surviving are a son, Frank Barber; a daughter, Virginia (James) Denton; eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday, October 20th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. where funeral services will conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 21st with Major Keith Welch officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
